Dr Humayun Abbas

Prof. Dr. Humayun Abbas is Professor and Dean, Faculty of Islamic and Oriental Learning at Government College University, Faisalabad. He earned his PhD in Islamic Studies from Bahauddin Zakariya University (2002) and completed a Post-Doctorate at the University of Glasgow (2006-07). An HEC-approved PhD supervisor, he has authored numerous scholarly books and research articles on Qur�an, Hadith, Seerah and Tasawwuf. He has organized and presented papers at national and international conferences and received Pakistan�s National Seerah Book Award (2005). His academic leadership, prolific research, and devotion to Islamic scholarship have made him a distinguished contemporary scholar and mentor in Islamic Studies.
