Dr. Saman Iftikhar

About

Saman Iftikhar (Member, IEEE) received the M.S and Ph.D. degrees in information technology from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2008 and 2014, respectively. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor with Arab Open University, Saudi Arabia. Her research interests include networking, information security, cyber security, machine learning, data mining, distributed computing, and the semantic web. To her credit, several research articles have been published in various reputed journals. Several research papers have been presented at prestigious conferences in Pakistan, Dubai, Japan, Malaysia, and America. One book chapter is included in her publications. She serves as a reviewer of international journals. She is a member of the IEEE WIE, IEEE IAS, IEEE Computer Society, and IEEE Communication Society. She was with IEEE Academic Pakistan initiative as a Speaker and a Coordinator.
